The Zanzibar Coffee House is situated in the centre of the maze of streets which makes up Stone Town’s old town, and was one of the first buildings in the city, constructed in 1885. It has been tastefully converted to an exclusive boutique hotel, and offers eight air conditioned individually designed rooms. All rooms are spacious and airy, with a traditional Zanzibari four poster bed and unique and beautiful decor.
The tower-top teahouse provides a perfect location for breakfast and evening meals, looking out over the minarets and roofs of Stone Town, and the ground floor cafe offers the best freshly baked biscuits and cakes and freshly ground coffee on the island.
