Camping in Tanzania Tips
-
Families– If camping organise a large family tent that you can also stay in.
-
Tent At Night- Take an empty bottle / plastic bag into your tent at night – no one wants to go to the toilet at 0200. If you see or hear animals outside, stay calm, stay in your tent, and try not to move. Don’t sleep with your tent door open/ make sure holes are closed up.
-
Remember – Don’t forget that the animals do not register you or the tent as food.
-
Shop – Get the driver to stop at a supermarket on the way to start your safari – stock up on treats you will miss on the road.
-
Luxury Camping Safari–Our Luxury Camping Safaris come with a full back-up staff, ensuring seamless logistics and unparalleled service. Travel in custom-built 4×4 safari vehicles with game viewing hatches, accompanied by professionally trained driver/guides.
