Day 1: Departure Begin your journey with an overnight flight to Tanzania.
Day 2: Arrival in Tanzania Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, you will be greeted by a representative who will assist you with your connecting flight to Mahale. After a scenic 5-hour light aircraft flight, you will arrive at Mahale Airstrip, where you will be met by a guide and transferred to Greystoke Mahale. This luxurious lodge is located on a white sandy beach overlooking Lake Tanganyika and is nestled at the base of the lush Mahale Mountains National Park.
Days 3-5: Greystoke Mahale Spend the next three nights at Greystoke Mahale, where you will have the unique opportunity to trek through the Mahale Mountains in search of chimpanzees. Days 7-9: Chada Katavi Spend the next three nights at Chada Katavi, where you will have the opportunity to witness some of the most incredible wildlife sightings in Africa. Day 10: Departure After breakfast, you will be transferred to the Katavi Airstrip for your flight back to Kilimanjaro International Airport, where you will connect with your international flight back home.
