Tarangire Treetops
Tarangire Treetop’s idea of a standard hotel room and your idea of one may differ considerably! Your room will be in a Baobab or Marula Tree!
Overview
Tarangire National Park plays host to this collection of luxury tree houses which are nestled in the South West of Arusha and close to the plains of Southern Maasai land.
Your eyes will be indulged by the amount of game and your breath, stolen, as you witness one of the biggest herds of elephants in Africa. In season, these majestic animals migrate right past the resort and you are bound to share an encounter with one, as Marula fruit is an elephant’s favourite treat. Essentially you will be sleeping in their equivalent of ‘dinner plates’ but not to worry, they enjoy eating the fruit more than people. To put your mind at ease, the camp is completely guarded at night.

Our opinion
We love the idea of calling a tree home for a week or so, yet, the essence of enjoyment is more about the quality of the environment as a whole that contribute to the overall experience. This one for us is an all rounder!
