Tanzania is blessed with some of the best wildlife viewing opportunities in the world. When on your  Tanzania Safari , you will be able to meet the wonderful people of the country and its various tribes as well as viewing stunning scenery and wildlife.

You have decided where you want to go on safari and now you have two important questions for your safari

A Private Tanzania Safari means that you alone hire the safari vehicle and the safari guide. You usually get to decide, where to go, what time, and extra. You make all the choices with some recommendations from your tour operator and daily with your safari guide.

A Group Safari or a Shared Tanzania Safari is where you are part of a group of people who are booked on the same Tanzania safari itinerary. It means you have less control over safari. Group safaris are a good opportunity to meet like-minded people and make friends.

Camping Safari or Lodge Safari

There are a variety of different ways that you can enjoy your safari adventure in Tanzania.

We have divided the options into 4 levels –

Camping – This can be either within the National Park or at campsites outside the park using simple 2/3 people tents. You have a chef who comes with you on these trips – helping with putting the tents up, cooking and cleaning for youPlease see below the different accommodation options that we offer while on safari.

Comfort –These safaris use lodges in the tour. These lodges are uusally larger establishments (30+) rooms and can be found inside and outside the park boundary.

Comfort Plus – these Tanzania Safaris use luxury tented camps – these are smaller more personal establishments with usually fewer than 15 rooms. Often you stay in a luxury tent (these are permanent tents with proper furniture) giving that true Out of Africa experience.

Sure, private tours are more expensive, but what you receive is a different level of customization, intimacy, and privacy. Our expert guides know every nook and cranny of Tanzania, and yet it is ultimately you who gets to decide where to do and what to see.

Tanzania is waiting for you. Seriously. Right now this large, friendly country on the east coast of Africa teems with sharp-toothed animals, cone-shaped volcanoes, baby-blue oceans, and sandy beaches that beg for your wiggling toes, your piercing eyes, and your thumping heart. From joining a tight-knit group of other adventurers to choosing your own adventure with a private tour, it’s your call.

More extroverted and budget-conscious? Small groups can be a fantastic option. Less concerned about money and more concerned about privacy and itinerary control? Private tours might be for you. Either way, contact us today and let us find the right fit for you. Tanzania is waiting.
