5 day Kilwa History & Beach


5 day History & Beach tourthis visits a UNESCO Site and one of Tanzania’s best beaches. Special Offer 

This tour includes time on the beautiful Masoko pwani beach as well as a guided tour to the Kilwa Kisiwani UNESCO World Heritage Site.


Day 1 - Dar to Mikumi

Pick up from your hotel, ferry to Dar, drive to Mikumi National Park, afternoon game drive in the Park. Mikumi national park obtains a good impression of the African animal world and is suitable very well for a short visit.

There is a rich variety bird species as well as large numbers of giraffes, buffaloes and elephants and close to the water holes also lions, leopards and hippos. Furthermore you can see zebras, lions, wild dogs, pythons, hartebeest, wildebeest, elephants, impala, warthog, eland and antelope. Several observation towers enable you to overview the park in its entirety. Mikumi National Park is mostly miombo woodland with gently rolling hills. In the evening we overnight at a lodge in the park.

Day 2 -Mikumi to Dar

After breakfast another game drive in the park, then we head back to Dar, arriving in the late afternoon.

Vehicle Options

Private Safari
